Welcome to WCONLINE, the Office of Research and Graduate Studies writing support center for all post-baccalaureate students at the University of the Incarnate Word. To get started, please register for an account by clicking the link to the left, then note the following:

We will have some extended online hours (see schedule), and you may also contact the Office of Research & Graduate Studies (210-805-3555) for further assistance. - After registering, you may schedule a FACE-TO-FACE or ONLINE appointment. Please select the correct type of appointment (ONLINE or FACE-TO-FACE), as indicated in parentheses next to the Writing Specialist's name.
- Click on the WHITE square with the desired time and fill the appointment pop-up form.
- Visit us in the MABEE LIBRARY, ROOM #238, Mondays-Thursdays from 1:00-6:00pm for Face-to-Face appointments.
- ONLINE appointments vary, please see the schedule and read the posted instructions for scheduling/attending online sessions.
- You may modify or cancel your writing session by accessing your original appointment. WCOnline will automatically send you & the Writing Specialists emails regarding any changes made to your appointment.
- FACE-TO-FACE appointments are scheduled in 30 minute-1 hour blocks, while ONLINE sessions are scheduled for 1 hour.
- WCOnline sends a post-appointment evaluation in an email. You are encouraged to complete this post-session evaluation, as it will be used towards refining our support services.
- While you are welcomed to drop in and see us, scheduled appointments have the first priority.
- Writing Specialists WILL NOT simply edit or proofread your paper, so please be prepared for a working session.
- You will need the following information when scheduling/attending your appointment:
- UIW ID number (PIDM)
- Contact info (email/phone)
- Academic program
- Course/Professor name
- Assignment type, type of assistance you are seeking, assignment due date
- Copy of your original assignment
- Your laptop for Face-to-Face appointments (optional)
